Description

New air-cooled VW clutch installation tool kit for VW Type 1 and Type 4 applications.
Our clutch installation kit includes a flywheel lock tool, clutch installation tool and clutch mounting bolts.
Mounting bolts are 8mm x 1.25.
This unit also fits many air-cooled Porsche applications.
EMPI's 5003 flywheel lock tool engages in the the notches on the flywheel that typically contact the starter. The unit is then bolted through one of the engine to bell housing mounting holes to ensure the flywheel will not move.
This flywheel lock tool is designed to be compatible with 6 volt and 12 volt flywheel applications. It can be used on Type 1 engines, Type 4 engines, 356 engines and 911 engines.
This kit is excellent for locking the flywheel in place while installing a new clutch or for disassembling or reassembling an engine.
