    Description

    Small spool of embroidery floss as found. I believe the vintage is early 1900's.
    Shiny. Called artificial silk. Green
    Could be messy in the beginning where it slipped off the spool.
    I have seen this used in making rosette (rose- floral)  type trim.
    Please study the pictures with the ruler for the size of the spool.
