    Description

    Hello! This is a beautiful fused art glass menorah with 9 candle holders by Tamara Baskin. It is signed on the bottom with a date (see photos). It has been carefully cleaned with a small brush for all dust from crevaces. It previously had a sticker on the bottom stating:
    "Wall Menorah. This fused glass represents the Western Wall and the City of Jerusalem with its soft colors and domed rooftops. Handcrafted by Tamara Baskin."
    Explanation of Menorah:
    A
    menorah
    , which has only seven candleholders, was the lamp used
    in the
    ancient holy temple
    in
    Jerusalem — now a symbol of Judaism and an emblem of Israel. A Hanukkiah, however, has nine candlesticks — one for each night of Hanukkah and an extra one to light the others.
