    Description

    This is a vintage but utterly modern mid-century menorah
    by Pal Bell of Israel.
    I have seen various dates from several sources that are reliable - so my best guess is that this is from the late 40's to early 1950's and was designed by Maurice Ascalon.
    This is a highly desirable and rare to find piece, even more so rare to find one that is complete (the shamash is a seperate piece) and in good condition.
    This one will need to have the clear lacquer removed from the bronze and then replaced in order to look brand new. If you examine the pictures you can see wear the old lacquer has become hazy, and in other places has worn thorough and the bare bronze is shining through. There are also a few spots where wax has dripped.
    Still looks eye-catching and sharp as it is.
    That's for certain.
    The pictures were taken outdoors in natural light to highlight the wear
    in the interest of full disclosure.
    That said, we should all hope to look so good at that age.
    Measures 13.5 inches long, 6 inches deep, and 2.5 inches tall.
    Two pounds of solid bronze.
    I will pack this very securely and send by USPS Mail.
    If you have any questions, please be sure to ask before bidding;
    I want to make sure that everyone  is happy with their finds.
