Brilliant Polychrome glaze Judaica Menorah / Hanukiah, 1999. Hand made, signed and dated on the back 1999. A nine candle Hanukkah menorah. APPX 3 lbs.
Katya Apekina was born in 1959, Moscow, USSR. She received Master of Ceramic Arts degree from Stroganoff School of Applied Arts in 1983. Her whimsical contemporary work incorporates influences from Russian Constructivism architecture/art. Some of Katya’s work may be seen at the Russian restaurant , Cafe St-Petersburg in a Newton,MA.
A wonderful example of contemporary Judaica art and a great addition to your Judaica collectibles.
