    Description

A beautiful Judith and Holofernes designed pewter Menorah
This lamp was made by the Jewish Museum in New York and is a copy of an
18th century silver lamp made by Christian Gottlieb Muche (1717-72) in their
collection. The original was made in Breslau, Poland. At the center, Judith
holds her sword upright in her right hand and the head of Holofernes in her left.
The hand of God appears from above and pours oil on her head, which could
be said to equate the miracle of Hanukkah with Judith’s triumph over
    Holofernes.
    Measures 10" H x 10" W X 3" D
Made out of pewter, and gold toned, very heavy.
In good vintage condition with signs of wear , please check pictures.
    THank you for looking.
