I have available an Anatomically Correct PLASTIC MODEL of a HUMAN SKULL.  This pre-owned skull had a prior life as a teacher model used by a retired college anatomy instructor.  This two-piece model has a removable skull cap and a hinged jaw that is moveable to mimic a chewing motion.  The approximate dimensions of this model are as follows:
Height (with skull cap in place) -- 7.25"
Length -- 9"
Width -- 6"
Circumference of skull (measured along the edge where the skull cap rests) -- 22"
This skull model is in GOOD-to-VERY GOOD Conditon.  Notable issues/imperfections with it's conditon are the following (and all can be seen in the zoom-able photos posted with this listing):
There is a brown stain (about the size of quarter) on the interior of the removable skull cap piece.  It looks like a paint drip or perhaps a wayward splotch of an old adhesive material?
Similar small stains exist in four spots along the edge of the top of the skull opening.  The locations of these stains makes me think they are due to prior use of an adhesive material.
There is also some discoloration on the bottom side of the skull, viewable only when the skull is viewed upside-down -- more of the brownish stains probably due to an old adhesive plus a smatterng of black spots.
As you can seen, this skull presents with a charming smile showing off his tooth loss -- I'm not sure if this was the original design or if it represents a change from the original condition.  (In my opinion, it only adds to the "dug up from the grave" vibe of this model.  And serves as a visual reminder to brush and floss daily!)
Please note that the skull cap does not (by design) snap into place on top of the skull.  It's placement on the base is insecure.  (A couple of strips affixed to the rear of the skull can be used to discretely hold the skull cap in place.)
This anatomically correct human skull model will appeal to any student or instructor of the biological or medical sciences.  If you're looking for an appropriate birthday or Christmas gift for the "goth" teen in your life, this skull is a
GREAT
option!  I've used this skull both as a year-round decorative object -- it's perfect for Halloween, obviously, and with Santa hat or a Leprechaun hat, it makes for a festive Christmas or St. Patrick's Day decoration.  I've also employed this skull for everyday use by placing the skull cap upside-down in the base of the skull and using the the inverted skull cap as a place to store my wallet, keys, and charging cellphone overnight atop my bedroom dresser.
