ASEAN countries discuss ways to fulfill connectivity plans

VIENTIANE, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) — Representatives from member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) attended the third meeting of the ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee (ACCC) on Monday to discuss ways to solve problems in fulfilling plans relating to ASEAN connectivity.
The meeting, held in northern Laos’ Luang Prabang province, reviewed progress and challenges in the implementation of the ASEAN 2025 integration plan, Lao National Radio reported on Tuesday.
Following the meeting, the ACCC met with negotiation partners and non-ASEAN partner countries to share opinions on progress and challenges in the implementation of the plan and projects being carried out by negotiation partners and external partners that provide support for ASEAN connectivity. ■
